I am excited to announce the addition of initial support for Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Now, you have the option to add my website to your mobile device’s home screen and get a nice icon as well, yay!.
PWAs are a technology that empowers you to interact with web applications as if they were native apps. They offer a seamless, fast, and responsive experience, making it easier than ever to stay connected with your favorite websites.
While I’m thrilled to bring PWA support to my platform, I’ve made some deliberate choices in its implementation. I understand the importance of maintaining a balance between enhanced features and the specific needs of my users. As such, I’ve opted not to implement caching and offline support at this time because this could potentially be excessive, adding complexity without significant benefits.
